DAY 1: AREQUIPA

Upon arrival reception and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon you'll take the Arequipa half day city tour that includes the visit at the Santa Catalina monastery. The city has fine spanish buildings and many old and interesting churches built of sillar, a pearly white volcanic material almost exclusively used in the construction of Arequipa . The Santa Catalina Convent is by far the most remarkable sight, opened in 1970 after 4 centuries of mistery. Overnight

DAY 2: AREQUIPA / CHIVAY.

At 08:00 a.m. leave Arequipa towards north west direction behind snow-covered Chachani, we see wild vicuñas, alpacas & llamas in Pampa Cañahuas national reserve, some birds like flamingoes, ibis, andean gooze, ducks, andean eagle "Kara Kara" view point of the Volcanoes and snow covered mountains in Patapampa (4,800 m. - 15,000 ft.). Arrive in Chivay, capital of the valley. Afternoon optional visit to the thermal springs & pools in La Calera.
(Admission to the pools not included, about $3 per person). Overnight ( B)

DAY 3: CHIVAY / CABANACONDE / SANGALLE/ CABANACONDE
We will get up early in the morning to have breakfast and then go to the town of Cabanaconde , from where we go down 1,200m, into the Colca Canyon to reach Sangalle or Oasis is a very green place with abundant vegetation, here we will find a natural swimming pool of 20 ºC. After lunch in the late afternoon back up to Cabanaconde. Dinner and Overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 4: CABANACONDE / CRUZ DEL CONDOR / AREQUIPA

After breakfast the transport ( 35 minutes) brings us to the most visited point to see Condors “ la Cruz del Condor “ also since here is possible to appreciate the depth of the canyon. After one hour we begin our trip back to Arequipa with guiding stops on the way to see arqueological sites, pre - Inca terraces, small towns, After Lunch we have lunch in Chivay then back to Arequipa about 17:00 hrs.Overnight.(L,D)

Day 5: TRASFER OUT OF AREQUIPA
Breakfast and transfer to the airport or bus terminal. (B).
