Who hasn't heard of Cuzco?? It was the heart of the Inca empire, later overtaken by the Spanish conquistadores and nowadays the most visited tourist center of South-America. The city is beautiful, and it's recommended to spend a few days to explore all Cuzco has to offer.
Besides the city, there is a lot to see and visit in the Sacred Valley, like Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Sacsayhuaman and of course Machu Picchu!!

Bus Ride Cuzco/Puno, from US$ 50,= per person

Description: we pick you up from your hotel at 07.00 am and depart by bus from Cuzco to Puno (around 8 hours), across the scenic high Andes landscapes only dotted by small villages and herds of llamas and vicuñas. On the way we visit the Church of Andahuaylillas also called the "Sixtine Chapel of America", the temple of Raqchi (the temple of Wiracocha God, probably the largest roofed building built by the Incas). The trip continues towards Puno with a stop at the Inca ruins of La Raya, the highest point of the route at 4.335 m.a.s.l with impressive landscapes. Later we visit Pucará, the most important and oldest ceremonial center of El Altiplano where the origin of the Andean culture in the altiplano was discovered.

Machu Picchu Full Day, from US$ 260,= per person

Description: we pick you up from your hotel at 05.00 am. Today we visit the famous lost Inca city of Machu Picchu, one of the most magical and mysterious places left by this culture. A 3 hours train ride brings us to Machu Picchu; the journey passes through picturesque Andean scenery, traditional villages, Inca ruins and rushing rivers. We'll descend 1.300 meters through the Sacred Valley of the Incas and follow the Urubamba river to Aguas Calientes. After dropping off, you will take a 25 minute bus ride to the ruins of Machu Picchu. Once there, you will have a guided tour. In the afternoon we return to Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Cuzco.

During day 2 you have all day to explore Machu Picchu on your own. The expenses of the second day are not included in the fee.

City Tour Cuzco, Half Day, from US$ 45,=

Description: pick you up from your hotel at 13.30 pm. During this half day city tour in the center and nearby ruins of Cuzco we visit: The Cathedral; built on Inca Wiracocha ‘s time, the koricancha, (the temple of the sun). Leaving downtown we get to the nearby ruins of Sacsayhuaman, a wonderful temple of the Incas built in cyclopean style; Qenqo, another important Inca huaca; Puca Pucara or the red fortress which is impressively situated overlooking the Cusco valley and finally Tambomachay, one of the most impressive Inca baths.

Sacred Valley of the Incas, Full Day, from US$ 59,= per person

Description: we pick you up from your hotel at 08.30 am. We begin the tour visiting Pisac, approximately 32 kilometers from the city of Cusco. It presents Inca remains, with a complex structure of terraces and irrigation channels. Pisac is well known for its crafts market that are only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The terraces are a testimony of the vast production of food.
From Pisac, following the Vilcanota River we go to Urubamba where we stop for lunch. Later we continue to Ollantaytambo. The abandoned stones and unfinished walls remain as testimonies of the battle which Manco Inca faced when the Spanish Conquistadores arrived before the Incas fled to the Vilcabamba jungle.
On the way back to Cuzco we visit Chinchero, well known for its ruins and for the lovely church where one can find many paintings from the Cusco school. It is also an appropriate region to view the splendid snow-capped peaks in the surrounding area.
