DAY 1 In the night from the Nautical Lodge we will perceive and observe the artisanal fishing in the river where the fishermen cast the net or nets to catch fish as bocachico, paco, shad, mota, catfish, maid and others, while at the same time with opportunity to observe the clear sky of Madre de Dios and from time to time to see the passage of shooting stars that constitute one of the charms of the jungle of Madre de Dios: Overnight in the Nautico Lodge DAY 2 Breakfast at dawn to go exploring the forest and hiking in the trail where we see the lush vegetation accompanied by birdsong and the sound of monkeys. We will arrive to the Lupuna lagoon where we will see various fish and birds, this lagoon has been studied by various ornithologists because of the variety of birds that go to this place. Near the lake is the Lupuna, the thickest tree in the Peruvian jungle; and we will see one of the most thicker in the area of Bajo Madre de Dios, also we will see the Chihuahuaco the tallest tree in the jungle where often Harpy Eagle nest Return for lunch and then we ride a motorized canoe to visit a native community in front of Gamitana Island where we will see about their customs, daily activities, handycrafts and dance. After we go to the beautiful stream Gamitana where we can sail for a good while Return to the Nautico Lodge watching with flashlight along the way the caymans, in the night their eyes turn in red with the light and try to approach them for better observation. Dinner and relaxation DAY 3 After breakfast at sunrise we cross the Madre de Dios River to the opposite shore of the place where our Lodge Boat is to walk through the path or trail to Lake Sandoval located in the Reserve Area and start a walk of 3 km in 40 minutes ca. When we reach the lake we will ride a canoe with paddle without engine and will surf in its the calm waters of this lake. Throughout the year the Sandoval lake has a great biodiversity of species such as turtles, alligators, endangered species like the giant river otters (Pteronura brasiliensis) , black caiman, the lake also has varieties of water birds like cormorants, herons, kingfishers, and also the prehistoric bird sansho (Hoatzin), macaws and besides a countless variety of butterflies of various sizes and colors. At noon we begin the Return to the lodge for lunch Lunch. In the afternoon there are diverse activities, for those who want fun can make kayaking, fishing, or just rest or relax at the Nautical Lodge or leisure in the Caoba Lodge facilities At dark, we could make a nocturnal exploration around the Nautical Lodge to hear the animal activity, or make a cayman safari by canoeing with flashlights. Dinner, free, relax. Overnight at the Nautical Lodge DAY 4 Breakfast and departure to the airport or bus station, farewell.
